My Hero Academia: You’re Next is the fourth feature-length film in the My Hero Academia anime franchise, continuing the story of Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and his classmates from U.A. High School’s Class 1-A. Released in Japan in August 2024 and internationally later that year, the movie takes place in the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, during events that connect with the seventh season of the TV anime.
The story focuses on Deku and his fellow aspiring heroes as they face a dangerous new threat: Dark Might, a mysterious villain who claims to be the next “Symbol of Peace,” mirroring the legendary All Might. Alongside him is the criminal Gollini family, led by powerful villains who challenge everything the heroes stand for. As the heroes fight to protect society and uncover the enemy’s plans, they must work together and push their Quirks to the limit.
Packed with high-octane battles, beloved characters, and an original story supervised by creator Kōhei Horikoshi, You’re Next adds a fresh chapter to the My Hero Academia universe that fans of the series will enjoy.
