Dragon Ball: Ossu! Kaettekita Son Gokuu to Nakama-tachi!! is a special Dragon Ball OVA released for the Jump Super Anime Tour 2008 event. It takes place after the events of Dragon Ball Z, showing the characters enjoying peaceful lives after the defeat of Majin Buu. The story focuses on a fun reunion where Goku and his friends gather together for a celebration, but their peace is interrupted by the arrival of two new Saiyan enemies: Abo and Kado, who are former soldiers of Frieza’s army.
These villains are strong enough to cause trouble for the Z Fighters, forcing Goku, Vegeta, and the others to fight once again. The OVA also introduces a fusion-like transformation called Aka, creating a new threat. Despite being short, it delivers classic Dragon Ball humor, nostalgia, and action.
