Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods introduces a new level of power and danger to the Dragon Ball universe. The story begins when Beerus, the powerful God of Destruction, awakens from a long sleep after having a prophetic dream about a legendary warrior known as the Super Saiyan God. Curious and excited to find this fighter, Beerus travels to Earth, where Goku and his friends are living peacefully after defeating Majin Buu.
At first, Goku challenges Beerus with confidence, but he is quickly overwhelmed by Beerus’s terrifying strength. Even Vegeta, who is usually fearless, realizes the enormous gap between them. With Earth’s destruction at risk, the Z Fighters must find a way to achieve the Super Saiyan God transformation. As Goku reaches a new divine form, an intense battle begins that pushes him beyond anything he has faced before. The movie delivers epic fights, comedy, and the start of Dragon Ball’s god-level era.
